In 2009 we experienced much forward motion. From the hiring of our General Manager, John Mixon in early Spring to construction and a refurbishing of our future Radio Broadcast Studios and offices, we've been busy! Here are some highlights of God's blessings and forward momentum in the past year: January - Pledge Commitments from the September Fundraiser and beyond total $71,000. A Mobile Adz Truck Billboard space was donated by the Grittons and stationary billboardspace was donated by the Zettlemoyers. Prayer Team is established, being led by Mark and Wende Davis. Happy New Year, everyone! Being the curious sort, I did a search for “New Year” in the Bible. Guess what? It’s not there. Nope, no mention of a new year, new year’s eve celebration, fireworks, a ball dropping in Jerusalem square – nothing. Didn’t they have new years back then? Yup. I have stated it in public already so it must be true. I will be recording a daily podcast and posting it to the internet for all to hear. When you first visit a different church it can be intimidating. It's easy to assume that everyone around you has been there forever and they recognize you for the "newbie" that you are.
