Announcing Our Air Date!

I hope that headline grabbed your attention!  It should!

Some of you have been waiting for this station to begin airing for ten years.  Although it was the Federal Communications Commission who first made the frequency available for the region, the process is slow and costly.  We believe we are reaching the end of this long road to “flipping the switch” and have every reason to believe that, despite a few remaining “unknowns”, we are planning our on-air Grand Opening this Labor Day Weekend!

Here is our Tower/Pepco time-line (for your prayers):

  • KPFF Consulting Engineers completes preliminary construction drawings for Tower Site (required by Pepco/Delmarva Power, the Tower owner.
  • Pepco reviews preliminary drawings and either approves or requires changes.
  • Time required by KPFF to make changes and re-submit Final Construction Drawings
  • Pepco sends drawings to “approved” vendors who must submit bids to complete the work of placing the antenna and running cable
  • Pepco awards contract to lowest bidder
  • Winning bidder to schedule and complete tower work
  • Transmitter Building to be purchased/delivered
  • Transmitter to be delivered/installed
  • Electrician Hooks up power to the transmitter
  • “The switch” get’s flipped – we’re ON THE AIR!

Total estimated in “worst-case scenario” – 26 weeks – August 27, 2010.

Also, here is what will be happening simultaneously which involves other preparations for “air”:

Station Construction

  • Purchase of on-air, audio Mixing Board – to save money, John, Andy and Jeff are looking for quality used gear from an active manufacturer (to ensure the ability to acquire repair parts)
  • Final wiring and studio preparation
  • Purchase of computers for “air” and office
  • Construction, delivery and installation of Transmitter Building (*Note: we are working on a newly discovered option which could reduce the time and costs involved.)
  • Purchase, manufacture and delivery of antenna
  • Purchase and delivery of our transmitter

Fund Raising

  • Schedule Church/Ministry Visits to raise awareness and funds
  • Schedule 88.7 TheBridge presence at any and all significant community events on Delmarva
  • Continue to update the website to encourage visits and donations
  • Continue our visits with area business leaders to discuss sponsorship opportunities
  • Plan a “Grand Opening” event to include music, speakers and more

We hope this news is as exciting to you as it is to us!  It certainly comes as a breath of fresh air and energy to he volunteers who’ve been on this project for a decade.

Our volunteers could certainly use some support from you!  Yes, you!  You who are reading this update, who know that when this station does go on the air you will see the benefits to not only your own personal walk with Jesus but also to your family, friends, neighbors and complete strangers.  This station is going to be a local mission of sorts.  Many people will find that they are no longer alone in their walk with God.  They never really were, but TheBridge will live up to it’s name by Bridging the gap between the numerous denominations of Christian faith on Delmarva.

We will learn to love one another as never before because it’s very difficult to dislike someone after you get to know them and their families.  It’s hard to lambaste a belief structure while you’re praising God in their church building.  It will be difficult to ignore the fact that when the Bible speaks of the Church it means you and me and them and those people over there.

Jesus is Lord of all.  Please join us in prayer for this station, that our roadblocks are cleared, that our goals of Connecting and Strengthening are achieved.  Every major forward motion in the process of this station has come at the foot of the cross of Christ.  Please join us there.

Now is the time to discuss our $10 proposition.

We are asking every Christian family on Delmarva to prayerfully consider putting aside $10 per month to support this effort, this local mission which will serve and benefit not only your family but so many others.  We know that $10 per month is a tiny amount of money.  We also know that there are some families who couldn’t even spare $10 per month while others could spare $100.  It isn’t about equal giving, it’s about equal sacrifice.

The idea that a 25,000 watt radio station devoted to Christ is even allowed by our Federal Government is a blessing from God.  That we can still practice and express our faith in this country is a blessing.  The opportunity to serve the world through our wealth is a blessing.  But as our freedoms seem to be shrinking and our society’s morals crumbling the need to increase in numbers and to walk with the power and strength of Jesus Christ is paramount.

It has been said, if you change the boy, you’ve changed a man.  If you change a man, you change his family.  If you change a family, you change a neighborhood.  If you change a neighborhood, you change the city.  If you change a city you change a region, state and country.  If you change a country, you change the world.  It all starts with one person.

Our efforts to bring us together in our love for Christ and thus change lives comes at a cost.

$10 per month.

Will you talk to your family about this tonight?

Will you join and partner with us in building this Bridge?

$10 per month.

Look to the right of this web page…. you can conveniently donate monthly, automatically if you wish, using our online account with paypal.

May God be with you.

88.7 TheBridge Year in Review – 2009

January 22, 2010 by John Mixon

In 2009 we experienced much forward motion. From the hiring of our General Manager, John Mixon in early Spring to construction and a refurbishing of our future Radio Broadcast Studios and offices, we’ve been busy!

Here are some highlights of God’s blessings and forward momentum in the past year:

DSCF8735small

January - Pledge Commitments from the September Fundraiser and beyond total $71,000.

A Mobile Adz Truck Billboard space was donated by the Grittons and stationary billboardspace was donated by the Zettlemoyers.

Prayer Team is established, being led by Mark and Wende Davis.

February – A new broadcast budget was developed with a focus on volunteer effort and used equipment in light of the economic downturn.

Delmarva Broadcasting offers to lease vacant radio studios in Lincoln for a low $1,000/month fee which will include electric and other services such as alarm protection.

The decision is made to pursue getting on the air as soon as funds permit construction and trusting that God will provide ongoing budget funds from listeners and business underwriting.

March - John Mixon named new General Manager of WKNZ.  John is hired to work on a part-time basis until this is no longer possible due to the demands of the job.

“Plan B” is firmed up with the idea of getting closer to an official air-date before renewing efforts to raise funds from future listeners.

April - The Vision and Mission for WKNZ were developed and discussed. After a few meetings “Connecting, Strengthening” become the theme for WKNZ and an effort to build a “brand” around those two themes is begun in earnest.

Efforts to secure tower lease continue.

June - David was used by God as a child, a tiny figure against the massive man called Goliath.  GM John Mixon develops a plan to use God’s logic of conquering the financial needs of the radio station using “small stones.” Noting that if a fraction of Christians on Delmarva donate as little as $10 per month, this ministry to the people of Delmarva will flourish beyond belief.  (Have you signed up to donate $10 per month?)  You can do so, quickly and easily through our paypal account HERE!

July - John Mixon spoke concerning WKNZ at the Laurel 4th of July Celebration.

887fmTheBridgD07aR02aP01ZL_mdmAfter much prayer and study John begins to close in on our new name and logo to match the Vision and Mission. Like many radio stations, our call letters, WKNZ, get pushed to the background and 88.7 TheBridge is introduced. While the FCC requires call letters and they will be read out at the top of every hour as required by law, the station will be branded, marketed and discussed as “88.7 TheBridge, Connecting, Strengthening” and occasionally the tag line “Christian Radio for Delmarva” may appear for clarification purposes.

An open call for volunteers, including local air-staff, is released. Initial funding for all start-up costs became guaranteed regardless of monthly commitment level. Getting on the air becomes our main focus.

August - Our transmitter tower continues to be a speed-bump, slowing our progress to going on the air. Our plan to lease an existing tower fits in with our budget goals to keep initial costs low but dealing with the company which owns the FCC-approved tower has become loaded with red-tape, hoops to jump through and slow downs. While some reasons were discovered and identified, progress was slow.

September – 88.7 TheBridge introduce our new Website! www.887thebridge.com was unveiled and many writers from all over the state and beyond began submitting articles for Spiritual encouragement. News Tickers allow you to follow national and international news headlines for both secular and Christian News. 88.7 TheBridge is the first website in Delaware to feature a Christian News Ticker which is updated hourly.

October – Several required studies to move forward with our Tower lease were completed and submitted.

donated furniture

Donated Furniture

November – Upon submission of new tower studies more delays to obtaining our tower lease were identified. A plan to overcome these newest obstacles was developed. Our prayer focus continues to be the tower lease. Our plans to begin the lease of our office and studios near Milford were paused until the tower lease issue is resolved.

Delmarva Broadcasting donated over $16,000 worth of office furniture and equipment to 88.7 TheBridge!

December – The required construction plans for the Tower site are currently in the final stages of completion. It is our prayer that the tower company is out of roadblocks and hoops following this step. Prayer is urged to continue in regard to our obtaining a lease for the tower. Other major purchases as well as our new campaign for funding will remain on hold until the lease is in our hands.

There you have our 2009 in review!  I trust you are continuing to pray for 88.7 The Bridge and that you have prayerfully considered partnering with us to bring Delmarva the finest Christian music, news, discussion and programming!  Your prayer and financial support is critical to the completion and ongoing success of this radio station.

OnAirLightDark100x100This is the actual “on-air” light in our new studios.  Right now, it is still dark.  We need your prayers to flip that switch!

We move into our studios and offices over the coming days and weeks!  If you are interested in being a part of this, contact John Mixon.  jmixon@887thebridge.com

“What Will 88.7 TheBridge Sound Like?”

Many people have been asking… “What will TheBridge sound like?”

Connecting, Strengthening.

Through the mediums of traditional broadcast radio as well as new media such as the internet and social networking websites, we will work to bring the body of Christ on Delmarva together to praise our Lord with one mighty voice and to encourage one another in our daily walk.

WWJD became quite the Christian Catchphrase for a while but as any fad, it faded to become little more than a crude punch line in many a comedian’s stand-up act. But the question still remains, “What would Jesus do….” If He were driving in your car with you right now? If He were in that group of people you sit with at lunch? If He were with you at the bar that night? If He were to comment on that thought you just had? I think it’s safe to say that if Jesus were with you right now, you may not be doing exactly what you’re doing, or at least the way you’re doing it.

As when you first fall in love, when you can hardly get through a day without thinking of the object of your affections, 88.7 TheBridge will be in love with Jesus all day long. We may tell a joke, speak our opinions about a hot local topic or play a song with a fantastic beat, but it will all go through the filter of WWJD; The Bible. Will you join us in our journey toward loving the Lord our God with all of our strength, heart and mind and then loving our neighbors as ourselves?

“That’s spiritual gobbledy-gook!” You shout at the computer screen. What’s TheBridge going to SOUND like?!?!?

The answer is to say that it is our goal to present upbeat music with a significant and obvious focus on glorifying God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, LOCAL News, Information, Sports and Events, a healthy sprinkling of laughter and a dose of local discussion.

When we first go on the air this year we plan to start out conservatively in all of those areas while testing the waters and stretching the envelope until we become firm in our steps. As any new ministry, we are utilizing the help of many people to achieve these goals. Current and former radio professional as well as business leaders, church leaders from a variety of churches and common everyday folk make up our steering committee. With a significant focus on local Delmarva life as well as keeping an eye on the changing demographics of our area, we hope to continually develop a radio station that is so well-done it attracts Christians and non-Christians!

It’s a common lie from Satan that your walk is not good enough to witness Christ to friends, neighbors, co-workers and especially not family, “because they know too much!” Well, 88.7 TheBridge is coming to walk along side you daily and to encourage you in your relationship with Christ and to embolden you in your love for Him and for the lost.

We believe that churches will see a change in their congregations. Offering plates will become more consistent. New visitor numbers at every church on Delmarva will jump and continue to grow. Prejudices and interdenominational battles will decrease, perhaps disappear. Divorce rates and out of wedlock pregnancies will drop while church and Christian Seminar attendance will spike. Fathers will play more “catch” than golf. Mothers will argue less with teenage daughters. Sound like some sort of utopian pipe-dream? Nah, it’s all in The Book. Believe it.

That’s the power of faith in our Savior. That’s the “Walk” we’ll be encouraging. That’s how we plan to invest our 25,000 watts in His bride. Will you invest in us? All we ask is $10 per family per month through our automatic Paypal Account.  We wouldn’t prevent you from giving more, but all we’re asking is $10 per month, starting today.  Will you do that?

I’m glad we had this little chat.  It’s been nice getting to know you.

God bless you.

Church raises $2.4 Million, $100 at a time

January 4, 2010 by John Mixon
Filed under Donate, Manager's Blog, National News

A little over a year ago, God spoke to my heart regarding fund raising for this radio station.  He told me that using slick techniques and tactics to reach our budget goals by approaching the wealthiest individuals on Delmarva was not what He wanted.  Then the World economy dropped like a brick and since most individual and corporate losses occurred “on paper,” the people effected the most were the people most heavily-invested, the wealthiest.

While some could view our plan to reach our budget goals by asking for $10 at a time is back-pedaling, it is actually the best way to give God the glory.  It’s all about Him!

Then the news, even the secular new sources, reported this:

Calif. pastor takes in $2.4M after donations plea

Rick Warren is no ‘typical’ ministry-leader!  When I read this headline, I wasn’t all-too surprised.  I figured a man with his high-profile recognition could easily allow his church’s financial situation to grab a little press and have some ‘fat-cats’ write checks with commas and he’d be right back in business.  But that’s not what happened.

“The pastor said he planned to talk about what he called his church’s “radical generosity” in the rest of the weekend’s sermons. He said the total came from members, and the donations were all under $100.”

Worth repeating… the $2.4 Million Dollars “..came from members, and the donations were all under $100

$2.4 Million.  ALL.  UNDER.  $100.

We need $20,000 per month to meet the FCC requirements of two full-time, paid staffers and to pay our minimum monthly bills.  More money would result in more paid staff and fewer hours per paid staff-member.  $20,000 per month could be achieved by 2000 people/families donating just $10 per month or 1000 at $20 per month.  Our signal will reach 300,000 to 400,000 reported Christians in Delaware, alone.

The Rick Warren story continues:

“With 10 percent of our church family out of work due to the recession, our expenses in caring for our community in 2009 rose dramatically while our income stagnated.”

Warren said the church had largely managed to stay within its budget during the year, but “the bottom dropped out” when Christmas donations were down.

My call to you is direct.  It is for you, not the next person.  We are moving steadily toward our air-date and will be on the air in 2010, barring unforeseen situations.  Will you join our supporters by clicking one of the monthly donation links situated to the right of this article on this website?

The values presented are $10, $15, $20, $25 and $50 for monthly, automatic donating and there is also a link for one-time donations.

Are you waiting for us to get on the air before committing?  Send me an email and tell me your thoughts.  Are you worried that our format won’t be to your liking?  I am convinced that our station will offer something for everyone but as you donate to ministries in other countries, donate for the benefit of others right here on Delmarva!

We, TheBridge volunteers and myself, are now making ourselves available to speak in your church or at your ministry to discuss the details of this station and to seek prayer and financial support.

STOP              PRAY             DONATE

Is God leading you to be a “Bridge-Support?”  Click the link.  Do it now.  Don’t delay.

Daily Podcast? Seriously?

studmicYup.  I have stated it in public already so it must be true.  I will be recording a daily podcast and posting it to the internet for all to hear.

Translations:

  • PODCAST – A recording of original material intended for delayed playback on a mobile device (such as an Ipod or similar) or streaming on-demand via a computer.
  • DAILY – Once per day, every day, Monday through Friday.
  • TRUTH – A statement of facts from the perspective of the person relaying those facts.  OK, that’s not true.  Not at all, really.  Not even close.  However, in the context of the opening statement, this definition is the best one to use.

You can check out the 88.7 TheBridge Daily BRIDGECAST by clicking here:

Goldfish and other Lofty Thoughts

September 22, 2009 by John Mixon

Many years ago I wrote a small article in our church Newsletter.  It was an article about how much we can learn from goldfish regarding contentedness.  I suppose narrowing it down to goldfish was unnecessary, as most fish swimming around in domestic captivity seem fairly well content.  But then, years later I mused; “How would we know if they weren’t?  They can’t speak to us.  They can’t hold up signs.  They could be bored silly.  Surviving and little more.

Bones 2It was the late 90’s when we moved and released the fish in a nearby stream because they had acquired “ick” shortly before we left the state.  Since that time we have had one pet, a mutt of a dog we rescued from a massive animal shelter in Marietta, Georgia.  We saw hundreds of dogs that day as we walked aisle after aisle of barking beasts.

The dog was my wife’s idea.  Our oldest son was nearing his teens and the idea was to teach him some responsibility by gifting him with a dog.  I am no fan of dogs, partly from a bad experience being bitten when I was 4 years old and partly because my Mother is greatly afraid of them and we never had a house-dog, though my brother had some Labrador Retrievers he kept in a cage in our yard.  Between the occasional incessant barking, the odor in the yard and my other influences, my regard for the animals was low.

Then came that dog.  As we walked the aisles, my wife repeated “How about this one?” as I nodded left to right.  I had secretly hoped to get out of there without an animal.  At every cage, which were separated by concrete walls, the animals barked their heads off or attacked at the gate as we passed.  I knew I could come up with a million reasons to reject any fur-ball she would select.  The plan was working wonderfully until we came upon a seriously cute puppy.  I was cornered into an attempt to get to know the puppy in the “Bonding Room.” Bones 3

This is a TRICK!  I quickly realized that the facility knew just how to tug at heartstrings and convince people to fall in love with their various animals.  My wife was almost ready to give me the “look” which has the ability to reduce my arguments to nil when the dog released his bowels between us.  The foul stench removed the “warm-fuzzies” she was feeling and I dodged the bullet.  Not to be thwarted, she demanded we take one more aisle before leaving.

Near the end of that aisle,…. on the right side,…. in a cage with 3 other puppies who clamored to the gate as we neared,…. a little puppy,…. a little, cute, light brown puppy,…. near the back of the cage,…. lifted his head to see what the commotion was all about, surveyed our presence, and plopped his little head back to a resting position.  “That’s our dog!”, I heard myself yell.  I was as surprised as my wife was.

In the Bonding Room the dog we referred to as “Lazy Bones” because of his relaxed demeanor, was so warm and mild, neither jumping nor clawing for attention but simply looking around the room before taking another rest, had won both our hearts.  “Bones Mixon” was the name on the document I signed.  Bones was neutered, implanted with an identification device and released to our care.

Over the years Bones taught me much about kindness and forgiveness.  He tried my patience in more ways than one, but overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better dog.  Though I complained about the hair all over the house and the odor that comes with a medium-sized dog, I loved him and we had a unique relationship.

In late August last year Bones suddenly began having seizures.  By September they were frequent.  On the night of September 25th his seizures had gotten worse and frequent.  To prevent him from hitting his head on walls or furniture, I carried him outside between seizures.  I was up with him the whole night, wandering with him aimlessly as he woke from his seizures.  I talked to him the whole time.  His Doctor had said that if the medicine didn’t work it was probably a tumor rather than any other cause.  There was no way I could afford the operation for such a thing.  So there I was trying to comfort my friend in his final moments.  We walked and walked.  I reminisced about his life and the ways he would crack us up.  He was a good dog.  The next day he was gone.

Bones 1

If you had told me even days before Bones became ill that I would be emotionally affected by his passing, I would have scoffed at you.  He was, after all, merely a dog.  A smelly ball of fur.  Yes, I cried.  I couldn’t believe he was gone.  I suddenly learned how people get so wrapped up in their animals that they pay thousands in medical bills for them and treat them as though they were human.  Bones taught me a hard lesson to learn about emotions.  God used that situation to improve my empathy for pet owners.  The Lord is always working this body of clay, forming me, lovingly crafting me into His image.  Sometimes it hurts.  But may my hurt be used to help others.

I still think there are more noble ways to spend thousands than to add a year or two to a dog’s life, but I won’t judge anyone who decides to do it.  I know what it feels like.

Bones…. I miss ya, pooch.

887fmTheBridgD07aR02aP01ZL_mdmHey, folks and future listeners of 88.7fm The Bridge!

I am excited to report that we are continuing to move forward with WKNZ. Much is being done that is not yet visible but will be soon!

WEBSITE – Our new website is in the final stages of content-building. The framework is complete and our contributors are adding fresh, updated stories and articles to make the website “crackle” with information that you will enjoy.

STUDIOS – A volunteer has stepped forward to do some custom interior work in our studios and offices!

AIR TALENT – We’ve been getting emails and phone calls regarding folks who are interested in volunteering for auditions to become on-air staff! Remember, we hope to have two people on every daytime air-shift! We still need more volunteers!

TOWER – We’ve identified the major issue which is delaying the whole process! I won’t go into details, but suffice it to say that our little studies (which are required before we can set an air-date!!!) appear to be very small fish in a large sea. From the standpoint of doing business, I fully understand why this is, but our hope is that God will part those seas so our little fish gets some attention! Knowing the “why” is a giant leap from not understanding the hold up and it allows us to go down different avenues to solve the problem.

Please PRAY for us! The TOWER is the key to an air-date! We need these studies to be completed before we can move forward with the remaining major purchases.

We still need your support in prayer as well as financially! Have you partnered with The Bridge? I hope so.

Do we seek to divide?

When folks ask me about 88.7fm The Bridge, they often ask about local preaching.

With a quick prayer and a deep breath I begin to explain our Vision.

The Bridge will benefit Delmarva by connecting believers together through our mutual love for our Savior.  Jesus brings us together.  When you see a car driving down the road and it has a Christian marker of some sort, do you smile?  Does it make you feel good, as though a friend just drove by?  Does it make you rejoice inside knowing that the body of Christ has many members?  Or do you quickly wonder which church denomination they attend?  Do you squint at them, hoping to tell by sight if they are in line with your doctrine?  Do you judge their salvation based on their driving skills?

PE-070-0846 ~ OR ~ comfort

Hopefully you can see that reaching out and having the mind of Christ is much more favorable than bickering over the details.  Have we become modern-day Pharisees?

The Bridge will work to bring us together in the commonality of our Savior.  We will celebrate Him in song and discussion.  We will encourage you to examine your faith and stand strong in it.  I hope that Christians are not so confident in their interpretation of the Word that they are completely closed to every other interpretation and fully expect someday a pat-on-the-back from God as He says; “You were right and they were wrong.”  The arrogance of such thinking is spoken to in discussions as to who will sit at the right hand of Jesus in heaven!

Should you be prepared to give an account to your faith?  Absolutely!  Should you spend more time arguing with other denominations as to who has sound doctrine or join hands in showing the love of God through Jesus to all on Delmarva and around the world?  Quietly answer that question to yourself.

Local preaching on radio is best left to secular radio, and in my opinion should always focus heavily on the Gospel message.  There are many who will not seek out Christian teaching in times of trouble or challenge but God will use their usual radio stations to hit-’em with the Truth.  From there they may connect with the local body whose preaching they heard and begin their walk.  They’ll benefit from the non-stop fellowship offered on “The Bridge” later as they grown in our Savior.

I’m excited.  Delmarva is about to experience a change.  We are going to come together.  We are going to work together.  We are going to display Christs grace and love in a real way to our neighbors.  Are you excited?

WKNZ Bridges The Gap

July 17, 2009 by admin

Our two main themes at WKNZ are:

Connecting and Strengthening

Connecting

As it has been stated, the church is fragmented. We have numerous denominations and splits upon split within those. Do we share a common goal? One would hope so. I would like to believe so.

What’s missing is the non-doctrine-threatening, loving, caring source to bridge the gap that exists between churches, even though they are in many cases literally next door to each other.

If we all share the common understanding that we are sinners, and outside of our Savior, are lost.. if we all understand Jesus’ answer to the question, ‘what is the greatest commandment?’, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”, then why not act like it?

Would you agree that if we joined together to work toward these goals, we’d be more effective?

Strengthening

To believe in God is also to believe in Satan. Satan is real, pure evil. He has done a very impressive job of distracting believers in America. We are more comfortable than the majority of countries. Our ‘poor’ own cars, cable TV, Blue-Ray players, X-Box, high-definition TV’s and even homes that some countries poor would consider castles.

It only goes up from there as we look at the middle class and wealthy in this country. We have more ‘things’ to do, see, read and watch than at any other time in our history. We are entertaining ourselves into a state of numbness which so distracts us, we have no idea how far removed we are from God’s voice.

I heard a pastor speaking about a time he was in great pain from an operation. When he arrived home, suffering, he instinctively flipped on the TV and laid in his misery. It was then he heard God’s voice beg the question, “How can I comfort you when you turn to that box instead of me?”

Indeed, we need to help people return to a focus on God and spiritual things. The key, and our goal, will be to help people turn to be attentive to God’s voice in their lives while entertaining them with some of God’s greatest gifts to mankind; music, humor, love and intelligent conversation.

radio_towerWill you prayerfully consider becoming a partner with us along this journey?

We have the obvious financial needs but this is the easiest way to help. For many the sacrifice is a matter of watching one less On-Demand movie per week.

But we also need help in the way of time and talent.

For our website support we will need people to write about the following topics, keeping the website fresh and relative:

Music (In EVERY genre! We will need people who will keep up to date on every genre of Christian music from Hymns to Contemporary and all points between.)
Concerts (Reporting on upcoming concerts as well as concert reviews.)
Seminars (Any and all Christian Education seminars for people of all ages.)
Local News
Health and Wellness
Finance
Calendar of Local Events
Movie Reviews
Fashion
Shopping and Saving
School News (Hopefully a representative from each school district.)
Local Sports

We will be selling ad space on our website, so any Christian business owners who wish to give and get, please contact me ASAP! Our new website will be going ‘live’ soon.

This is an immediate call to action! If you’re reading this, and I’m pretty sure you are, you should be feeling the pinch as though I were standing before you, face to face, asking for your help. I am. Will you help?
