Bill Sammons

Bill Sammons co-hosts The Morning Show with Denise Harper. He got his first job in radio while in college in 1977, moved to television news at WBOC in Salisbury for several years, and started Delaware’s first Christian radio station (WXPZ) in 1990.  Bill and his wife Julie have a young daughter, Mary, and he has two sons, Josh and Nick…and 2 grandsons.  And a golden retriever, Maggie.

Denise Harper is the other half of The Morning Show with Bill and Denise.  She worked in radio 12 years before coming to The Bridge.  She met her husband, Ken, while touring with a musical group called Sound of Joy.  She & Ken have two children, Cody, 15, and Abigail, 9.  Denise enjoys sharing  encouragement  and joy with listeners …. and, of course, ribbing Bill.  (It’s a tough job but somebody’s got to do it!)

Jake Sommers

Jake Sommers is one of the most unforgettable personalities you will ever meet on radio.  His transparency and warmth never fail to touch hearts.  Jake is happily married to Dana with five children from age 6 to 25.

John Mixon hosts The Bridge Home, 2 to 6pm Weekdays.  John’s first radio job was at a small AM station in Pennsylvania in 1981.  More recently, John worked as a fill-in talk-show host at 92.7 WGMD.  John is married to Wanda and they have three children, Sean, Joshua and Jessica as well as one daughter-in-law, Lynn, and a granddaughter, Terra Lynn.  John likes long walks on the beach with his trusty, yet imaginary pet dragon, “Sniffles.” John’s hobbies are photography and music.

Dave Hubbard is enjoying his very first job in radio here at 887 The Bridge. He enjoys heading up the evening show and spends most of his days working at various local ministries and his church. Dave enjoys the freedom and time to travel and experience new things that he can then share with his radio listeners. Dave is an odd and free spirit, call him sometime and find out for yourself!

Dave Hunter

Dave  Hunter says, “I got into radio because, while getting ready for my school day, I thought the guy on the radio was having more fun in the morning than I was!”  He and his wife, Robin, enjoy skiing, motorcycles and hiking.

Angela Stevens Angela Stevens landed her first radio job at the age of 17.  It doesn’t take long in listening to Angela to hear that she is definitely tuned in to family.  She enjoys life with her husband, Adam, and cute little bulldog named Barry (who is more like a child than a dog!).

Theresa Ross

Theresa Ross is married to Terry (who cooks AND cleans!) and they have two beautiful kids in addition to the three furrier residents of her home. What makes her crank up the volume in her car? “TOBYMAC…who else… :)
